This dynamic digital design program prepares students for work in education, the entertainment industry, and the business world producing graphics, websites, videos, photographs, audio, live streams and more.  Design marketing campaigns and products for real-world clients. Be a professional photographer, graphic designer, illustrator or animator?  Work in TV, radio or film!  Build websites, fly drones and stream TV shows?  Get the edge you need to become a Digital Media Artist and watch your digital dreams take flight!

Students in DMA experience the complete digital media design and production experience at an advanced level designing page layouts, book, advertising, vinyl banners, e-books, CDs and DVDs, marketing videos, TV commercials and shows, films, and complete websites and more.  If you find it on the web , on TV or in print you’ll build it in Digital Media Arts...

Students apply web, graphics and audio/video applications and other multimedia authoring tools to the design, editing, and publishing of digital documents, photographs, images, graphics, sound, and multimedia products on the World Wide Web and TV. This program offers students an accelerated pathway to some of the hottest job opportunities available using some of the coolest and fun technologies with a strong focus on hands-on production in the most advanced digital media lab in our region. Students use Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Illustrator and more and also learn to set up and manage websites using CMS systems such as Joomla and Wordpress. New streaming media production software such as vMix and Flash Media Server and instructional technologies are also an integral part of this program. Students produce 3D animation for film, TV or the gaming industry and create motion graphics in Blender and Video Co-Pilot. DMA students are prepared to pursue the full line of Adobe Certified Associates Certifications through online curriculum combined with real-life client work wherein students serve our community across the web, local cable TV and direct cooperative projects with real area businesses. NEW IN 2018-19: DMA students are now also able to pursue FAA Certfied Commercial Drone Operator Pilot Lincensure!This program includes instruction in internet theory, web page standards, elements of web & graphic design, interactive user interfaces for web, mobile, kiosk displays and ROM/DVD products, special effects, interactive and multimedia components, content management and web server configuration, search engines, navigation, e-commerce tools, and emerging web technologies.
